I would LOVE to find the documentary they made back in the mid-'80s ALL about the development on the Yamaha Vmax... I can't believe it's not on youtube or available somewhere. It was AWESOME to watch. When they unveiled the Vmax for the first time at the dealership the people almost passed out in disbelief... THAT would be a great video to get our hands on.

Chris, there is a video out there that has Jay Gleason unveiling the VMax in Vegas in 84. Also is footage of him testing the bike at the strip. Contact Wendy at [email protected]. She is the one that has put together the "Jay" clips onto a DVD. Sells for $10, and is worth it. Makes me want to go give my Max a good hard ride after watching it.
