Not mine.
Backrest WITH luggage rack, Nice looking Givi shield, Flap-style Corbin seat - asking $500.00
The catch - the ad is posted on the New Brunswick KIJIJI . The items are located in Moncton.
I couldn't get the link to work, and I have no idea if the items have been sold.
Remember, the Canadian dollar is worth only about 70 cents U.S., at present.
Cheers!

See you a Walkman and raise you a Japanese Nine-transistor radio!

A good deal if the backrest is OEM. I didn't open the ad.

Thanks for doing the link thing, Maxster. Just wasn't working for me.
Maybe because I'm still using 8-tracks and Walkmans.
Cheers!

From the ad, yes, OEM backrest. All the stuff looks to be in fine shape.

That thing only plays music from the '50s----:rofl_200:

Is there any other type of music?
EVERYONE had one of those radios!
Oh, how I long for transistors and rotary dials. Why is everything so complicated nowadays, medic?

Anyway, not from the '50's, but close.
Melanie Safka doing one of her classics, accompanied by a young friend. Terrific voices:punk:
Sorry for hijacking this threa....no wait, I started it. Never mind.
Cheers!

Yeah, I knew her first name but not her last. She was always known as "Melanie." I think she ended up in jail on a pot charge 'back-when. That seemed to undo her career though it didn't hurt the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, or David Crosby.

She was from the era of people like Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Buffy St. Marie, and Janis Ian. Great performers, writers, and musicians. I purposefully left-out "the other Janis" because she was more rock & roll but she did have a great blues voice. Ah, throw her in there too!

I was trying to think if I ever saw Melanie, and I couldn't for-certain recall that I had, though I once saw Judy Collins and Janis Ian in the same show. That was a great evening.

Miles, please post-up any other songs that you think may be appropriate for a post you make, I'll enjoy listening to your choice.

Are you willing to sell the luggage rack by itself?

The ad isn't thought to be anyone on here, contact the ad poster if it's still up on the original website. Buy it all and sell what you don't need here.

oops, I didn't see the 2nd page w/your post Miles! So, what other music are you gonna post, anyways? Are you familiar w/Carolyn Hester? A contemporary of 1960's folk artists, w/a great voice. Take a look at the pic at 1:58 and tell me if you recognize the skinny guy. https://m.youtube.com/watch?ebc=ANy...DANgsuXxd7zrQ&time_continue=173&v=8sbp_qmKjWU

Looks like Dylan, or maybe a young Lennon?
Anyway, here ya go. Definitely NOT for everybody, but always been a favorite of mine ( and also inspiration for a certain forum member in the Upper Pennisula)
Cheers!

Yes, Hibbing MN's own Bobby Zimmerman.

Leon Redbone is like Joe Cocker, he sings classics and makes them his own. A great delivery.
