A quick video describing my water pump problems. I hate typing and a video shows the problem with less confusion. LMK what you think. I think its prob just the bad mech seal...

Looks like the water pump bearing is shot.

You won't necessarily see it until the thing is really spinning and the bearing wear introduces an eccentricity to the rotating impeller, but it'll be there. The scuffing on the pumps housing from the rotating impeller is the give away.

Replace the bearing.

Replace the bearing.

+1 to that - replace seals and bearing and you should be good to go
