Hello everyone from Ohio. So I bought a new to me 1985. It idled ok, went to take it on the highway and got some stumble/bog. Could be bad gas but I pulled the carbs and things look pretty damn clean. I could see light through all four pilot jets. This bike has a stage 7 kit fwiw.

I’m cleansing everything and the jet needle just flops out of one of the vacuum piston assemblies. There is no nylon bolt or threaded portion to keep the needle captive. Where is the best place to find one (complete with the nut I’m missing)?

is there a vendor on here that is a good way to help support this community?im new here

Contact member dannymax, he specializes in carburetors. He should have what you seek. Look on the top of the page bar, 'members.' You will see he's there. PM him for parts.

Thanks! I literally have 5 miles in the seat on this bike and am not close to being sure about having it all squared away. With that being said you have any idea how you’d expect a bike to run in that condition?

Shout out to dannymax for the quick help. The Vmax is up and pulling strong!
