just wondering how much pressure is in the brake hose front / back when the master cylinder is activated, just bought a new brake hose for the rear caliper, the seller says the brake hose is good for 3000 psi . how much psi is needed to stop a GEN-1

Not 3000 pounds- Think of how many pounds of pressure you use with your foot to stop it with just one caliper.

From Wilwood's site: Disc brakes require approximately 900-1200 PSI at the caliper for effective functioning. We recommend that you use Wilwood Quick Check Pressure Gauges to measure your pressure at the caliper. If you are not generating the required pressure, we recommend increasing your pedal ratio, and/or going to a smaller bore master cylinder. See our Troubleshooting Guide for more complete information, and make sure you have Wilwood Quick Check Pressure Gauges available to assist you in evaluating the problem. You can also contact a Wilwood Sales Technician at 805-388-1188 or email Sales/Tech Support.

I expect that for cars, light trucks and motorcycles, there isn't much difference in pressure range, but I am not a hydraulics specialist. I would expect that hoses probably have a 100% above maximum pressure safety factor, or more.

Typically you're a 2x-3x safety rating beyond normal. I would bet the pressure is easily in the 1000+ but a long way from the 3k.

maybe overkill on the max pressure side but, nice rubber brake line looks like stock, not into the stainless steel tube
