Seems a little strange that an active shooter exercise was planned for today at Andrews and then they have a real one........:hmmm:

Not strange at all, the active shooter was probably aware the drill was today and wanted to capitalize on the "it's just another drill" mentality." It was always weird working on base during the different drills; people in gas masks, hazmat suits, tons of armed personnel moving around, etc.

Right at first, I wondered if someone may have shown up for work there this morning after having missed getting "the memo", and when he/she saw one of the "active shooter exercise" folks walking with his/her weapon drawn, PANICKED & dialed 911.
