Yeah but he's been busy trimming trees and making donuts :clapping:

needless to say the job's been overly demanding with bouts of weekend and late night/early morning activity. :surf: :th_whip:
also the wife and i are spending what few hours of free-time prepping the house for market (years of neglect and half-ass projects have piled up). :th_tongue:

in between all of this, i've been updating my resume, applying to companies, prepping for phone screens, and as of yesterday, studying for an on-site technical interview. :th_party39:

i did manage to squeeze in a week-long vacation in Austin with the family, though. man was that a hoot! :th_wine: :th_drink: caught a glimpse of the Circuits of Americas and hooked up with a113ycat. what a cool cat! :coolgleamA: he took us to the oldest BBQ in Texas. mmmm mmm mmmm :drool:


I haven't been totally gone. Up until now I've been checking in on the site just to see what's been going on, but on the smartphone. Ever since the site moved to a new server, my PC hadn't been able to connect to the site using DNS--a poor excuse I know for not participating. But I finally figured out that I had shot myself in the foot a couple years back when I messed with the "hosts" file. :bang head:

Still zooming around town on the Max. He still pulls like a champ, although is due for a coolant and oil change...and a bath.

Glad to hear you are still alive and kicking. If you want to fix your DNS resolution issue on your phone download a text editor from the playstore then open up /etc/hosts and make the necessary changes. Once you have done that, reboot and voila you are fixed!

I hope the job hunt and house repairs go well and that you are able to squeeze some riding time into the mix at some point.
