Worked like a charm. Thank guys!

Capped it off, and going to re-route the line down the back swing arm or straight down between the exhaust.

My bike is now free from the evils of its' California upbringing.

I know this is a really old thread, but the cams are different in a CA Vmax. I tried to use CA cams in the front cylinders with limited success. The bike would run. But, it was weak and when you turned the engine over by hand there was quite noticeably 2 exhaust valve openings. With a 180 degree crank you should only hear one big exhaust release. I changed the cams and it was a Vmax again.

Man I never heard of that before. I bes Sean will be able to say. I know the carbs are a bit different. You can use the CA carbs on a 49 state bike though. I have.

I checked for a '05 bike, the prefix for the cam 1 and cam 2 for CA is 2WF
