Finally took the time and got all the pieces gathered to do some mods to my 2018 Gen 2. It was completely stock with 3475 miles.
Did the MAB (modified air box) with KN filter. Did a CAT delete with a Star Rider Stealth Cat Elimator (Black Ceramic), and a reflash of ECU from Gurued Gear to match the mods.
Like to thank ALL the ones here on the forum for sharing info about these mods.
Especially Tim Nash @ Gured Gear and Sean Morley @ Morleys Muscle. Without guys like these, guys like me would not be able to make these bikes SO MUCH BETTER!
The instructions that came with the pipe and also the info from here on the forum to include links and downloads were great.
I can't believe the amount of weight and bulk just in the CAT. Looks like a Thankgiving turkey attached to the belly. Stealth Elimator pipes really cleaned up the looks. I love the look of the original mufflers so I kept the original muffles and covers, but the sound is awesome. Just a good low rumble or growl. (See attached video)
Took it out for a test ride. Throttle feels nice and smooth with a little pep in her step. Cant wait to take to track and compare ETs with my stock ones.

I took my stock 16 a few years ago and did the exact mods with the exception of using an Akrapovic mid pipe after deleting the cat. I would also suggest doing the DD or additional diaphragm spring on your clutch especially after adding the extra HP. It really brought the Max to a higher level yet it was still a smooth ride and not obnoxiously loud. Not sure what my numbers would have been before the mods but pulled a 9.98 out of it with just these four mods.

Agreed, I did the DD clutch MOD earlier on. I heard about the clutch slipping issue after HP increase. Tim Nash @ GuruedGear has a nice kit and easy to install.
I also used Tim's DD kit and yes it was plug and play easy. Also got some items from Sean to streamline and clean up the tail section. Let me know how you make out on the strip or post your times once you get settled into the NEW Max.
