Have a Chin spoiler (or Air dam, whatever it's called...) that mounts to the front of the frame just behind the front wheel and underneath the radiator.

Looks like I'll need to remove my frame supports, a nut sitting behind the more forward bolts for the frame support and two more bolts down past the bend in the bottom of the frame rails.

My question is, will the engine stay put if I unbolt all these? I'm fairly new to working on bikes in general but I know there should be a few more places the engine mounts to the frame but I couldn't see any no matter how close I looked. So I'm a bit nervous about it.

Also, why is there no forum for bodywork?

There are 6 motor mounts. One set is low in the back and the other 4 are in the front. One set high and one set low.

British word ( maybe slang?) meaning "figured it out" or "problem solved". Now that's my Americanized defination, The truly British meaning could be a "bit" different.

What he said basically. Been away from the states too long (a bit over two years now) picked up the local vernacular and starting to lose my accent. Sucks cause the chicks here love that Southern Drawl.

I would like to have a chin spoiler, where did you buy it?

Thanks, Erik
I got mine free from another Vmax rider in Tauranga, NZ that I bought my radiator reflector lights and new radiator guard off of.

Have heaps of sites that sell them and other Vmax specialist stuff as well. Just PM and ask and I'll link you to them.
