Cobra slip ons with center stand

I recently purchased an 04 max with the cobra pipe on it, and still has the center stand. I have been reading that this is possibly unsafe. Does anyone have any more info? Thanks

Yea, I about put one down in a hard corner that also caught a bump. The people behind us (had two on the bike) said the entire bike lifted off the ground and moved about 3'-4' feet sideways. Nearly shit my pants. Would highly suggest to take it off during riding around.
