Crankcase Cover 1 questions

Hello Everyone,

I have a couple questions in regards to the 'Crankcase Cover 1'. I have a 2006 Vmax 1200 and need to replace the Crankcase cover. Does anyone know the differences between the Pre and Post 2003 Vmax engines? From my research it says the engine casting changed for 2003? I've also read that the engine powder coat went from a glossy black Pre 2003 to a more Matte finish in 2003. I can find a few Pre 2003 covers for sale but no luck on 2003 and later. My main question is will a Pre 2003 cover fit my bike? The part number pre 2003 is 1FK-15411-00 and the 2003 and later is 1FK-15411-10. Any help is much appreciated. I've been looking for months with no luck.

All the covers will interchange from 85 to 07 the color is the only difference. I have plenty of covers but they all need painted
