No, not a build by "the Coneheads," "we are...from France!"

Done several years-ago. I like it. It has the early 1970's yellow, white and black factory colors, in a design evocative of the factory bikes of the time, especially the competition bikes. I like a round headlight, this has one, a + in my book. I could do without the super-wide rear wheel/tire, but hey, it's their build.

That looks really neat. Does that extra wide rear wheel make for more traction on a turn or wet pavement?
 
I believe most do it because the extra-wide wheel & tire look "cool." Personally I would not spend my $$$ on that type of installation. The tire contact size probably isn't much different from a normally-sized wheel/tire, which is about the size of your hand outstretched.
