Getting up at the crack of dawn to head to Daytona w/a friend. Not taking my 'Max, I will be on one of those heavy boys w/one-half the cylinders & one-half the HP, but still a V-engine configuration. Will swing by Boxenstopp's in Holly Hill to see what's going on Sat., & probably watching the National flattrack races on Fri. night, at the west end of the Speedway.

The national flattrack race start. On the Atlantic Ocean in Flagler Beach. At Joe Rauff's Boxenstopp's VMax shop in Holly Hill FL, but everybody's gone. An old 1920's H-D. And, a bike built in Buffalo NY by a famous car manufacturer, it was the Confederate Motorcycle Co of its day, or maybe MV Agusta. Built for the few who could afford it, and beyond the reach of most of the motorcycling public. Worth well-into six figures especially in the 'as-found' patina which is so in-vogue now in the market. .
