I'll keep an ear open for traffic through Atlanta. If it's good , you can save a little time by staying on I-75 through town. Friggin' new matching PP2ct front tire hasn't come in yet , so I may take the '90 . Crapola , was hoping the '98 was gonna be ready. I'll trace it tonite and if it's due tomorrow , I may wait , put it on , and come up late thursday.

Trip was amazing! Thanks Robert for making this happen, I am sold on returning soon.

Was great to meet everyone who turned up - CB, Rollie and the VMOA members I hadn't met before.

We did get a little rain in the afternoons, but the morning rides were fantastic. Pictures coming soon!

ya we did get rained in both afternoons unfortunately, but the morning rides were great and it dried out at night so getting drunk round the fire was is full swing ;-)

Hopefully next time we'll get dry weather all weekend and it'll our asses complaining 'cos we'll be riding the whole time! :eusa_dance:

Man, nice pics G! Reminds me of my days when I lived in Georgia and would make weekend trips into the mountians of N. Georgia/ E. Tennesee/ N.W. South Carolina. Sigh, thanks for the memories!

I really can add much to your pic's as far as scenery goes, but I did stay at a nice motel called the Two Wheel Inn, located in Robbinsville. Complete with a motorcycle garage for each room. Very cool.

Motel sounds good, plus from Robinsville you get the full 18 miles of US129 to the Gap resort and then the 11 miles of twisties on top of that! Great ride.. Nice waterfall pic too - never got round to see those unfortunately.

How much was your motel with the garages? Did it have free internet?

Motel was 60 / night. all building are new within the past 5 years. CLEAN! Yes they have free wi-fi.
