Socialism is supposed to be very popular among Millennials. They want someone to pay for their education: "anyone but me!" seems to be a popular refrain. They want to cut benefits to the elderly for programs like Medicare and Social Security, and "redistribute" the money paid for these programs through things like the $15/hour "living wage," "guaranteed monthly income," and free health care. When are they going to start with the euthanasia programs for the elderly? I have an idea, let's call it "Soylent Green Termination Time!" We'll confiscate all the assets of those greedy grandparents who just want to spend the money that should be going to us (the Millennials). They're just going to die anyway! Instead of dying 25 years from now, we'll just revoke their right to live, they screwed up the planet for us, and deserve to die. Besides, I want to go to Cambodia, the south of France, and Australia this year, but my employer won't let me collect my salary while I'm in those countries for five months. He's a capitalist pig!

I'm also going to spend time in Venezuela and Cuba, I hear they have a lot of good social services in those countries.

I think you captured that pretty well. They wont get shit when there is no money left. We are due for a good solid correction and crash, and perhaps international conflict. Im not concerned about this becoming the norm because states like CA that think this way are already in financial distress. With businesses and high earners fleeing CA like never before I'm not sure how any adult thinks this is sustainable. Oh well, I got a real kick out of this. I hope you did too. So can we get started on that CA border wall? I figure it only has to be a foot high as long as it is made of resume templates, public assistance denial forms and some works by Charles Darwin.:rofl_200:

Millennials! They seem view the government as their funding source and that government control of everything is the answer. They don't seem to understand the restrictions that the government will enforce upon their lives when they have that kind of control over the populace. They will not understand when there is not a Starbucks on every corner so they can get their 13 word long favorite drinks!

Fucking Millennials! They always want to get the government to pay for everything. Don't be fooled by the words in this article like "privately funded" or "experiment" -- those are Millennial code words for socialism.

Millenials are the WORST! They start multiple wars that last over a decade, assassinate presidents and civil rights leaders, doing mean shit like not want black people vote, creating a massive economic recessions.

I swear I wish they had their shit together like the older generation did. :biglaugh:

More of the same old marxist insanity.
Hey, when does Calexit get on a ballot? The whole country should get to vote on that.
Got my support.

Is there any information on how to sign up for this program from a remote location?

I would love to be on the receiving end of some “free” cash!

Do you guys think signing up twice would double the payout?

You can only sign up twice if your a deceased democrat and its voting season.

My family fled CA when I was 11 and dad finally got the dirt nap, it took my mom, my younger sis (9)and I only days to sell off a fully equipped labratory, an XKE, an AC Cobra, Comets, Mustangs and a full household. I was but a child and I will never forget the garage sale that covered our lawn and two neighbors lawns. We had pillow cases full of cash when Mom did some banking.

So there was a new 78 2 door Futura stuffed with a mom, two young children and a big dog crossing the state line before the ashes were even cool. We had no home, no furnature, nothing but money and the clothes stuffed in the trunk, and smiles on our faces. I remember the moment we crossed the state line we were yelling and cheering, remember like it was yesterday. We had no idea where we were going. We drove aimlessly for nearly two months looking for home. We saw a lot of places, when we entered the Black Hills it was instantly unanimous. Home!

Mom knew CA was NOT home, and wasted no time man, lemme tell ya. I think I was 8 when i understood the concept of states and knew I was in the wrong one, for childish reason I'm sure. I'm not sure how many times since I thanked her for having the sense and strength to do what must be done. I'm not strong enough to take a 7 week road trip with two kids and a dog in a midsized coupe. Fuck that! But she knew it had to be done. Now When I read stuff like this I can hear the bullet we dodged. Being a non-Californian is entwined into my soul. I know its a long story and not entirely relevant, I have not told this story for many years, but I never forget how close I was to having a seat on the Titanic. Im texting mom another thanks right now. Wow, life is good, and sometimes a wise parent is to thank. When I read stories like this I smile big!
