7. final drive pinion coupler not compatible with XS1100 drive shaft
A. final drive shock mount
B. final drive shock mount relocation or R1 mono shock required
C. no final drive shock mount, R1 mono shock mod required
D. drive shaft spacer, RTV and washer required

So 86-93 XVZ1300 Venture Royale should be a direct swap, but please let one of the pro`s verify if 4H7-46123-00-00 vs 4H7-46123-01-00 is an issue. Also note the ratio is different so your revs will be down compared to original.

I'm learning that Dannymax is much more than just carbs.

I'm tempted to encourage Mr. Hymen to change the name of the "Driveshaft/Differential" forum to "Driveshaft/FINAL DRIVE", however.......
I just don't the heart. Notwithstanding the great sense of humor that Mr. and Mrs. Hymen possessed- by naming their precious son "Buster" - they obviously were shortsighted, not realizing the pain, suffering, and teasing young Buster must have endured while growing up. No doubt, probably continuing into his adult life.
Buster certainly does not need or deserve any flack or criticism from the likes of this old fart.

86-93 Venture is correct. Some years of the Royal Star can be made to work but you have to drill/tap for the shock stud as well as leave the pickup unit in place.
