These pics are very disturbing to look at, but luckily his insurance is covering it. The shed he kept it in caught fire and burned to the ground last night..

It doesn't look too bad. I don't think the gas tank even went. I should know tomorrow what will become of it. I'd like to get the engine for a SMART car project

Insurance is going to cover the bike and any mods he had done, so he should be in good shape.. What the insurance company does with it is the $16000 question :biglaugh:

Really doesn't lok that bad. A little rubbing compound, a new seat and change the oil just to be on the safe side. Should be fine. Yeah right.

i know of a new 09 still at a dealer for sale up here. think there is about 100km on it only.

I think we fixed the wheel from that cooked bike (at least one very very similar). The rear wheel was a reworked stock wheel from George Deget.

I also have a cooked frame and engine from another cooked gen 1 here.

The gen 2 isn't worth a lot that's for sure and hoping the insurance will agree and I can work a price out with the owner. I like to use it as a guinea pig for a turbo or supercharged setup.

No. And, the 240-hp concept BKing had a supercharger and not a turbo, IIRC.
