Rednek, did you have any issue with this fitting leak at the copper washer? I just put this setup on my bike but it leaked pretty good a few seconds after starting it up. Took it all apart & put teflon on the threads & smeared permatex copper on the copper washer. Waiting to see how it holds up.

No issues whatsoever. Put it on about 2 years ago and have put on around 15k miles since. Hasn't leaked a drop.

Good to hear...hopefully the teflon & permatex will be the end of my leak.

EDIT: Well that did it. Bone dry.

Here's my gauge setup. Total money spent was about $100. Could have done it for a little less but adding some 90 degree fittings & the black line added about $25.

My gauge which I think came from CycleOneOff came with a plastic / nylon washer which leaked. I changed to a copper washer with correct torque and has not leaked since (8 years)

I sourced all of the parts online. I can try finding the sites later if you want but they're not too difficult to find from a search. You'll need two AN-NPT fittings, a 48" line with appropriate sized AN female fittings on each end & the oil or water pump adapter to replace the stock plug on the lower case. I used a 1 5/8" oil pressure gauge.
