Jeff's Ecotec Powered Dragbike - Formerly "Nitro Madness"
Well, I bit the bullet and drove 2000 miles in 50 hours. Loaded up a bike, slept for 5 hours (in the trailer, next to my new girlfriend... the bike), had a 4 hour business meeting, traveled to Norwalk OH, to watch Jason Pridemore make his first pass of the year on his blown Nitro Harley "Gunslinger" and finished the drive back to Iowa.

I purchased a roller... and a few other parts. It was the old Nitro Madness bike that Jason Pridemore was working on in the late 90s with a nitro powered 4.3L V6. It has a HUGE 120" wheel base that I will need to shorten. My plan is to put the 2.0L in it and build it for a turbo/alcohol setup... though Nitro would be fun! (too complicated and too costly)... but damn fun! LOL

I should be in the 500 to 600 HP range, and by going to the solid lifters and different cam, should be in the 600 to 700 HP range (maybe a bit higher if I do it right)... Here is a list of most of the parts I got:

2 sets of primary drive sprokets
3 belts
tensioner pulley
371 blower
clutch cupler
2 cupler bearings
B&J 2 speed transmission
Rolling Chassis w/ aluminum body
Wheelie Bars

PS... my wife doesn't know about it yet LOL... HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!! (I'm dead)

More to come -

Jeff
