I'm having a problem where the bike (Gen2) will not accelerate hard past 5k revs.
When it gets to around 5k it stops accelerating and starts to die if the throttle is opened hard.
On a gentle throttle it will accelerate past 5k. This happens in every gear.
I recently installed a larger fuel tank and have checked that the fuel pipe is not squashed anywhere and the breather is OK.
The FI light doesn't come on and the diagnostics do not give a fault code.
It seems like fuel starvation to me.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Which tank did you put in? How was the install?

The tank is from Florian Ehlers in Germany, install was fairly straight forward, if I did it again I would take more photos as I stripped the bike, the tank uses ALL available space and is a nice tight fit.

Check the fuel pressure coming out of the pump. Stock pump, correct?

This is what Ive found on thepump.

Maximum consumption amperage 6.5 A

Output pressure 324.0 kPa (3.24 kgf/cm², 47.0 psi)

Thanks for the info, I need to break the fuel line somewhere to put my pressure
gauge in, I don't have the adapter.
Do you know what the fuel delivery rate should be, ie. how many litres of fuel per minute or similar?

It doesnt give a volume out, merely a pressure. Here is from the factory service manual.
