VERY VERY quick and VERY VERY sure of himself... lol

I've seen newer vids of him. Quite a bit older now...

Meh, single action fast draw is it's own thing. It's one thing to pop a balloon with what is essentially a .410 shotgun (the blanks used are most often filled with cornmeal, gives a nice spread) and another to lay down a tight group with real rounds a la Jerry Miculek.

maybe, it didn't show the group, just said he hit the target, but 18 world records is nothing to sneeze at. This dosn't sound like buck shot blanks to me. "On one segment of American Shooter Bob fired 2 shots and hit two separate, 14" x 24" steel targets with .45 caliber bullets so quickly that the shots could not be recorded by a computer timer."

"Of all the special shooting he has done for television, the shot people comment about the most is when he hit a 14"x 24" steel, rectangle target 200 yards away 4 times in a row using a stock, iron-sighted (no scope) Smith & Wesson Model 60, .38-caliber, double-action revolver with a 2" barrel."

Reguardless who these competitive shooters are, they are good.

Like this cat, 5 shots, under a second with a single action.

That's insane right there. I've been known to pick up bowling pins at 50 yards with my J frame, but 200? Yow.

A Sharps Creedmoor, caliber .45-110, from the same era of the SA Colt, from about 400-500 yards out, will totally negate all that 'fast gun' action REAL quick.

I'll take the former, to the later, on any given day.

Ah hell, I'll go with the technology! Just give me a McMillan .50 cal. tactical rifle, I'll be a couple thousand meters away, over there on the next mountain top..................watching!! :biglaugh:
