Just bought my a 2004 Vmax today!!! I have been wanting one for years. Looking forward to getting it on the road. I have a lot of questions about what I can and can't do on these bikes. For instance, does the 17" wheel of the 2006 mount up on the 2004??

stock is 15" so if you have a 17"x 5.5 it will fit any years 1985 thru 2007

The 17" rear wheel allows you to use radial tires. Search for other threads on the use of radial tires on the Gen. 1 like you have. Don't mix a radial and a bias-ply!
