I have a 2014 1700 with just under 29k miles. The bad… small oil drip on the right side crankcase. Not too terrible. I cleaned the area and added a small bead of gasket sealant and it seems to be holding up just fine. I need to sell to make some money to buy my 16yr old daughter a used car. I’ve only had it a few months and this was my long time dream bike. I thought my daughter wasn’t ready to drive just yet but she has recently expressed her interest in getting her license. Bike is nice otherwise. The scoops were painted black as well as the side covers. Has normal cosmetic flaws that come with age. It’s has Delkevic pipes and no cat. I don’t think it was ever tuned afterwards. Any questions just shoot. I know it seems like I’m only pointing out the negatives but it really does ride awesome and pulls hard like all vmax bike do! Just had new Shinko tires put on this month. I just like to be 100% honest and upfront with people when I sell my motorcycles. Looking for $10,300 cash. Can’t deliver. You’ll have to pick up from high point North Carolina.

I’m probably not the best man to ask as I have not had to do that repair yet. Maybe ask some of the fellas around here? I mean I see that stuff as enjoyment. Taking stuff apart and repairing things. So to me I would say no
