From canada to usa

Anyone know the procedure and cost of getting a canadian vmax title transferred to usa? Thanks for the help.

Nearly impossible if it's not the newer version that had more emmisions available (and already passed). Can't remember the specifics but I bet if you can check with the DMV for the area you're moving the bike to might be a good place to start.

1987 yamaha vmax w/30000 kilos for $1999-from british columbia and now is in palm springs. It has been sitting for 5 years and i got it running for him today.
Pretty sure price will go up now.

Well there was no "1987" USA VMax, there was a 1986 and a 1988, but for 1987 they just sold left-over 1986's until the '88's were announced.

If you can get it done, it'd be a great talking point - that you have one of the rarest Vmaxes in the USA. I'll bet there aren't too many of the 87's that ended up imported to here.

It has a canadian flag emblem stamped next to the vin#.

It's easy doing it the other way,didn't know was so hard to go to USA.
