Can you use Race techs Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators with a Progressive front end lower kit and would there be a difference with them then with out them?

Thanks.

I'd think the emulators would work fine with the internal lowering kit But since I don't have either I'm just going by what others have posted.

m-cman has 1' lowered race tech springs with the emulators

and timcues has 2" lowered race tech springs and gold emulator valves

And Redbone had l2" owered Progressives with Ricor Intiminators:

I just have the stock length Progressive Springs and am very happy with them.

I don't have this specific setup but I do have Progressive springs with a 1" drop done internally (before radials I had a 2" drop internally). I used an aftermarket valving kit by Ricor which has been a good setup for me. I also have the spring preload fork caps on my older style forks although I haven't done much experimentation with them. It makes the front end stable and predictable and while there are better suspensions I think it is just about as good as it will get, using RaceTech or Progressive springs with either RaceTech gold valves or Ricor Intiminators will get you there with your stock forks.
