Fuel pump

Hi all, I have an 86 max and struggling to find a suitable fuel pump. Does anyone have any links for one in the UK please

You can use one that generates something like 4 psi like an inline pump, just be sure you mount it, plumb it, and wire it securely, or you could be a rolling fireball of combustible liquid. Yes the OEM is expensive. I was looking at two sitting on my shelf today.

I used a pump frim an older model Honda Shadow 1100 with just a small re-routing of hoses for an 2001 VMax ... worked fine with no issues.

hi scotty69 I recently installed a micro punp from ebay for about $25 + the price of a 90 degree elbow. because of circumstances beyond my control I have not road tested it,I warmed it up twice and on the bench I transfered 5 gallons of gas (3ft. lift) 3times stopping only to switch the cans. No issues. It got mounted to the oem beacket where the other one was. I am pretty sure most of them are made by carbone They are quiet.

I don't know if older V-maxes use the same as my '98 but here's a link to pt1 on how to get the cheaper fleabay ones to fit perfectly. I haven't run mine much but haven't had any issues with it so far. if you have no luck finding one I'll see if I can find the listing for what I bought but is was last yr so might not be in my purchase history anymore.
