Hello

I’m working on cleaning my 1993 Vmax fuel tank and notice that the tank vent tube hasn’t have cleared noticeable hole.
is it makes sense? How it should look like? Should I drill one?
Thank for the help

The fuel tank vent has an insert into the vent with a very tiny hold in the center. Try some safety wire or guitar wire to see if it's clear.

If you clamp-off the gas line to the carbs, and pressurize the gas tank briefly with an air hose (shop rag wrapped-around your air hose nozzle, and inserted into the gas filler neck), you should be able to feel air coming from the tiny hole Sean mentioned. A .02" or .6mm diameter should clear any possible obstruction.
