I’ve been wanting to throw some different pegs, possibly sports bike style. Any one changed em out?
I can’t stand the factory peg. And just the peg, the location is great

they fit on pretty much the same as other pegs do so if the dimensions at the mount are similar you can choose your style, should be quite easy to make minor adjustments to fit if needed

I have fitted a pair from a Fazer 600/ FZS1000 - I seem to recall having to do some modification but as this was some eight years ago the details are lost in my fuddled head.

You can just make them out on the pic.

Thanks fellas. I tried to put the stock pegs from my gsxr on it, the Clevis was way bigger on the Vmax. I wasn’t sure if the Yamaha stuff was just bigger. Thanks again

Exactrep carries the "Swingwing", which folds out for a 3" forward extension. I tried 'em for about 2 months and liked 'em , but changed out to forward controls.

I had a set of oberons on mine. They sell clevises to fit them onto the max.

I’ll be honest - I hated the stock pegs when I first got the bike because I was so used to riding sport bikes. I recently switched back to stock and love’em. They’re a lot more comfortable!68DEB3F0-7816-478F-8408-000A887C6A23.jpeg
