gen 2 headlight lens question

Is it normal for the headlight lens to be able to be pulled away from the housing while it's mounted in place? I'm thinking probably not but why is it not secured? Is it a sealed unit and the glue wore out?

Definitely not normal.

It can be reglued, shouldn't be a problem.

Some people have replaced the bulb with HID projector bulbs and they baked them in the oven to soften the glue to pull off the lens. I can't remember what they did when re-assembling however.

thanks mark. finally got to taking it apart. nothing a little glue couldnt fix.
