Gen1 1998 VMAX Fuel tank Upgrade?

Has anyone done an Fuel Tank from Exactrep 5. Gal upgrade on their VMAX?

Wow do you like to spend $$$? That's twice the price of a replacement OEM one. For an additional 1.4 gallons, 46 additional miles at 33 mpg.

The faux tank replacement for an additional 1.3 gallons is $1,062. Wow.

I picked up a tour tank-like thing, good for an extra 4+ US Gal on the pack rack. I'm not going to use it, bought a Venture instead and gave up on touring the Vmax.
