Got my center stand in the mail today :)

Got my center stand in the mail today!

Now to install it...

Is this just a simple two bolt install?

And if so - can someone tell me what size of bolts I will need?

My Max came with no stand - and I haven't checked to see if the bolts were still in the bike - in case the previous owner wanted to reinstall the center stand..

They are special bolts with locking type nuts. You will also need the spring and the flat metal piece that hooks on the frame and spring.
You will need the following parts if you are going to use the centerstand while riding: part 39(x2), 40(x2), 41, 42(rubber bumper for exhaust) and 43.

i'd say its a 2 man job to make things easy, i just did this...

those bolts probably aren't going to be easy to find at a store, but sean or someone may have some laying around.

put the spring on the CS and then on the plate and connect it all up. then work the bolt thru the right side hole then using 2 guys stretch the CS's spring so the left hole lines up. have someone hold the front brake or tie it down.

Or, forget about the spring and just bolt the CS on finger tight when you need to use it? Just a suggestion.
