Changing a lot of things on bike and need some advice,first,handlebars,they at tapered 1-1/8 down to what? What about risers?I've spent a lot of time online trying to find bars/ that would work,w no luck. if longer hoses,lines etc are needed,any ideas.....windshields,found one for max(besides Yamahas shields) hopefully the link below will come through,its made by "Pugh",and had a couple negative reviews on noise.Btw is yamahas touring shield effective.if someone has tried it please let me know what you think....I'm gonna need some kind of backrest for driver,as I have a bad back,and I know this is a real challenge with the seat,gas access issues.Link below on windshield. pro-line handlebar I really appreciate any help.Thanks Randy http://www.jpcycles.com/product/831-899/saddlemen-standard-sport-tunnel-bag https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/pro-taper-evo-adventure-handlebars-1-18?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=1100507366543|410|pg2319484|540c872b-5fd8-4a73-9c3e-7fb360c43c1d&utm_campaign=PLA-Pro%20Taper-Products&utm_content={CriteriaId} https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/puig-naked-new-generation-windscreen-yamaha-vmax-1700-2009-2015?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=1100507369411|410|pg2320808|540c872b-5fd8-4a73-9c3e-7fb360c43c1d&utm_campaign=PLA-Puig-Products&utm_content={CriteriaId}

I have a set of stock handlebars for sale if needed or you could go with drag bars but not advisable with a bad back-7/8ths are the size you need. The oem windshield at 12 inches will keep a small amount of wind off of you and a larger touring shield can cause a high speed wobble.Try searching backrest as there are a few guys that have made their own.

The back has stock handlebars, I'm needing wider bars with a lot more pullback. I would love to hear from someone who has made their own backrest or know where I can get one..It's a necessity for me..thanks
