heat gauge not working

my heat gauge is not working what are some of the things i should look at thanks

Check your connection on the sending unit, shiny-bright, no corrosion, and maybe a small dollop of dielectric grease. Same for the gauge connection. You can start at one end, work towards the other, and flex the wire to see if you have an internally-corroded wire and an open (bad, not-conductive) circuit. Senders rarely go bad.

Mine stopped once, bad connection like FM is talking about. You should be able to pull that scoop off and wiggle the wire and see it work
