Thinking of getting a heated vest, trying to extend my riding season. Any suggestions?

I bought a Widder electric vest several years back; it has the simple on/off switch and it definitely is worth the money. If you keep your core body temp warm, the rest of your body feels warm.....

cord or battery operated? does it draw too much on the electric system?

I got a heated jacket, chaps, and gloves. I only use the gloves now, they warm up my hands and that warms up the rest of me!

I went with the Gerbings. They have a lifetime warranty against the wires breaking too. I ride all winter with them. They are not cheap, but I believe my comfort is worth the cost.
