HELP! Exhaust problem, going mad!

Hey all, I'm new to this site and I need your help.
I've got a 97 Vmax and I want to change my exhausts cos the previous owner installed quite crappy ones. I want both left and right 2-1, already got the silencers but I just can't seem to be able to find a y-pipe that would be good. I've been trying for 3 months now and still no luck...:bang head: Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd find someone with SuperTrapp or Akrapovic Slip-ons and copy the adapters (Y-Pipes) they use.

Sounds good...but I just don't know anyone who's got one...I was thinking of the same thing though but I was just hoping there was an easier option, like getting another bike's y-pipe (I don't know which one's yet) and just slightly modifying it to fit mine...

You could just have someone here give you the measurements from those y-pipes and have a local muffler shop fab some up.

Take the bike to an exhaust shop and they'll be able to fab anything you want.
