Help...My max wont start

My max wont start when its hot. I already had a new battery , my starter had a new carbon brush but everytime i stop the engine and tried to start it again the starter had a hard time rotating.During the first start when is cold the starter had a good rotation but when the engine is hot it hardly rotates.Can anybody help me on this?

I see your Max is a 97. Hot start is usually on older bikes. Voltage at the battery when setting is? Voltage with the bike Idling is? Voltage when the bike's rpm is raised to 2,500 or so rpm?

1st answer should be 12.4 to 12.9 or so volts, Second answer should be 13-13.5 volts, Third answer should be near 14 volts or even slightly over..

The first post is absolute and correct by SpecOps13. Do you know the specifications on your battery ?
