Got a link this morning, never seen this type of bike racing before. Looks like a blast!
I wonder how a Vmax would do in this type of competition. I see what looks like a gixxer, a ZX and a few twins for good measure. :clapping: Awesome noise and dirt!

WTF? I've never seen it either. Looks like a lot of fun. You'd have to get used to NOT smelling rubber burning at those strips though.

Done mostly in the south using tractor paddle tire for traction.I have a friend that drives a rear engine dragster on dirt.They are called "sand drags"

Another awesome vid, very informative. I had seen dirt, sand and mud drags with 4 wheels but a first with bikes. The 300' track in this vid is wild, all the cool creations, to much fun!

Quite a while ago somebody posted a pic of one of those paddle wheeled bikes with a VMax motor and the guy driving it had Hell's Angels colors on....anyone remember that? :ummm:

Here it is but I don't think it's a VMax motor, V6 or V8 more'n likely.

I thought they had some ties to GM, but I think the colors would RO a Yamaha powered drag bike. I'm not to clear on the rules anymore.

It looks largely homemade and a bit heftier than some of in the bikes in the first video so I could imagine a home brewed dirt rocket with the heart of a full size car.

Likes like you dont really steer...you just get it pointed in the right direction and hang on..
