61BA8831-0512-48D4-88F0-C076A5FF8674.jpeg Picked up a vehicle I have spent the last 10 or 12 years obsessing over. I’ve always told myself if the right one comes up I would jump on it. It’s an 03 Full size Dodge van 2500 with a Salem Kroger 4x4 conversion and a somewhat luxury interior package. It’s like a unicorn from Narnia. 87k miles, 5.9l gas motor and was under $20k. It feels like my patience for getting the perfect van has paid off. I could’t be happier, and my 4 year old, also named Van, pretty much wants to live in it. 61BA8831-0512-48D4-88F0-C076A5FF8674.jpeg 49D81E77-C0F1-4F26-BEDE-71AF19C6DDA0.jpeg Now to either sell my pickup, or make another parking spot.

Nice ride!!
I wouldn't mind an E350 with 351 and Quigley conversion.
That’s what I had always figured I would find. Seemed like most of those that came up for sale were either really nice and really pricey or pretty well run down and still 10k-15k. The dodge was at the top of my price range, but is super clean.

Hopefully a little better than that
95 then.

nice, got any trips planned?

it i were to get into vans, it would be one of these.

I remember I used to dream of a Dodge 2500 because I believed I would become a cool hippie and drive around the various states. I even wanted to travel around the world in one of those vans. But that dream would never come true because I had tied myself to a full-time job and a high income. On my vacation, I wouldn't have time to drive all over the states, pick up girls, and so on. I think I'll save enough money to buy a used van at https://www.truck1.com.tr/kamyonetler/kapali-kasa-kamyonetler/fiat-ducato-2-8-jtd-4x4-dangel-sortimoeinrichtung-a3119816.html, get it tuned up, outfit it for a bedroom, repaint it. But then I'll need to save up for about two years for my future trip. Thanks for the post, man. I was reminded of my youth and my dreams.

Vans & Trucks magazine was one of my favorites back in the 1970's, when all I had with four wheels were vans. I never did anything I needed 4WD for though. Yes, it does look clean.

I had my van done on the inside, but it was set-up so I could strip it down to the OEM ribbed floor, to haul my motorcycles with, and I could still haul 4' X 8' goods in it, and shut the rear doors. I had Chevy, Ford, and Dodge vans, including a first-year Econoline Van/pick-up. Many people thought that was something made in the backyard. A guy in town took one of the Dodge A100 van/pick-ups and swapped a 351 Cleveland into the truck bed. It had about a 12" driveshaft, and it could lift the front wheels off the ground.
