ive really enjoyed time on my bike especially during the group rides through the twisties in the texas hill country. but going home often we will hit the highway. Going down I10 at 85 mph isnt a great place to be on the vmax.. what options are out there for windscreens for our bikes? 2002 model

The OEM accessory and the GIVI, I have both, the GIVI is a bit larger.

I did 1000 mile round trip total out to Johnstown and back...most all highway was 90mph 5500 rpm. Full face helmet and no windshield. I was pretty comfortable (for not having floorboards, windshield/fairing, backrest) but if I had an open face helmet I would have been killed by bugs and an occasional road debris that my helmet deflected.

I went ahead and redid the front top end. Removed the snub nosed Head light and the mount. Put shock mounts for n 8" aftermarket Headlight. Did this so I could mount a Puig 0869H Windscreen. Did the same for my 89' and I really liked it. Plus I'm a cheap-scape. Paid around $42 Free shipping on Amazon for the Puig. Cost of headlight, brackets totaled about $40. I also just installed an LED Bulb (H4 P43t) and get more viewing and people can see ME better
