Ignition Coils Testing High
I've had a nagging problem for awhile where the bike will run great until it reaches 5 or 6K rpm then it feels like it's missing intermittently. Carbs, ignition box, charging system, pick up coils, and fuel pump all check out. Today I tested the ignition coils and here's what I got.
All coils read 6.8 to 7.5 ohms on primary and 13.5K to 14K on secondary. The secondary seems in spec but the primary reading are high. My understanding is that they are supposed to be between 3 and 4 ohms. Could the ignition coils be the reason for my intermittent miss?
