A few weeks ago, our neighbors let us try out a 4 person Saluspa inflatable tub. We were in it about 20 minutes, and it was great! As soon as we got out of it and went home, we went to Amazon and bought a 6 person Coleman Saluspa, paid $329 for it. When it got here, we set it up in about 15 minutes and put the 260 gallons of water in it. These things run on 110 volts, so it takes overnight to get to temperature, which can very easily be set up to 104 degrees. There aren't real water jets in it, but there is a very vigorous bubbling action, which is really relaxing. The bubbles come from around the bottom edge of the floor of the tub. They are drawing air from the outside so there is a slight heat loss. We lose a degree in about 20 minutes. The heater doesn't run when the air pump is working, but when you shut it down, and cover it with the insulated lid, it recovers a couple degrees an hour. It's thermostatically controlled, and retains heat very well when not being used.

Worth every penny.

My wife bought an Intex brand 4 person inflatable. It holds 210 Gallons, works exactly the way that you describe yours does. It's perfect for the two of us and cheap to operate and maintain, plus easy set-up. Definitely worth it.

perhaps motorcycle manufacturers could start making inflatable fuel tanks for longer journeys :D
