Info on testing pickup and ignition coils on 91

I currently dont have a good manual on this bike. Cylinders 4,3 are not firing correctly. Would like to test these parts and could use some information to proceed.

I have that info, thanks. That material doesn't cover single pickup model bikes.

If it's late model then it's not a p/u coil issue. Nice thing about late model p/u coil is that it either fires all four cylinders or it doesn't. Test your plug wires, boots and ignition coils

yea, i am getting ready to pull off the valve covers because it has to be a valvetrain issue. Carb clean directly into the carb did nothing to the rpm of the motor. Moving into another shop and have not had time to tear into it.
