Hi!
I?m from Germany and new to this forum, looking for an answer to a problem. With my 2009 Vmax there?s the problem that when coasting (I hope that?s the correct word for just letting go without pulling the throttle) at 3500 rpm the motor injects fuel.

So for example when driving down the hill it just feels as if you had a cruise control on. I cannot use the "coasting brake" at this particular rpm.

The German Yamaha distributor checked it and said that it?s ok. Is there any possibility to get rid of this problem?

I had the same surge during deceleration which spooked me until I got used to it. When it happens, it feels like it may continue on its own, but then it fades away. I now have the Power Commander V hooked up and I'll see if that corrected the surge. If I forget to post back, send me a message in a few days.
