Installing Drag bar question

I am putting on a drag bar on my max and I was wondering how to get the stock end caps off:ummm: I am not trying to mess up the set up.

I was looking for a "how to" post concerning this but I have not been able to find it so far.

Grab ahold twist & pull there just glued in. If you decide to use pliers just be carefull since they will break easily.

If had trouble getting one of mine off, used one of those rubber strap wrenches, perfect with no scracthes

I butchered those horrible things and installed some quality Progrip dual density grips. Transformed my ride- SO much safer and more fun now that I can get a good greip on the bars.

I've tapped a block of wood with a hammer to get them started.

I would say screw it and buy some nice aluminum bar ends for it! LOL

LOL, buy our D3 Grips and Matching Bar Ends.

The OEM as noted just twist and pull.

good tip from coprunner, wrap the end with electrical tape, a bunch of it then use the pliers on them, help keep them from getting scratched and also gives grip to pull them out
