Instrument Panel

I was wondering why Yamaha had designed the instrument panel with a spot (beside the highbeam light indicator) it looks like it was going to be for a light for something.....was this a design brainfart or what ? Has anybody actually used this for something. Ideas wanted ! When people look at my bike they ask me what is that for ? I have to stand there with a stupid ass grin on my face and make something up -- I told one chick it was for the built in radar dectector. Told another that it was for the NOS. Anyway if anyone really knows please fill in the rest of us. :red ass:

I don't think they ever had anything planned for it. It probably made it look more symmetrical.

LOL... that's a pretty small condom coming out of there... I thought everything is Texas was big!! LOL
