not sure if your commenting on the vid Rollie?? I have a Max, don't think i would ever own a HD, was just wondering if my stock V-Max mirrors are set up the same way, I like the stock mirrors and would like to be able to tighten up my left one it won't stay put after a hard twist on the throttle.

Oem mirrors are cheap. Why not buy a replacement instead, and save yourself the hassle?

yep i might end up doing that, was just hoping there was a way to fix the one i have plus i'm a cheap azz ! LOL

I'd give it a shot our Stock Mirrors look pretty similar to the one in the video, from the outside at least.
Worst case is you end up buying a new mirror.

I could be wrong but doesn't the mirror have a nut you can lock against the mount? If not just put a nut on it.

I believe there is a roll crimp holding the glass in. Set your mirrors where you want them and put a drop of blue loc-tite on the ball.....Redbone put me onto that, said it works good. unk:
