Ok got mains and needles in. how do i go about adjusting a/f screw? and does each carb have a a/f screw? Is the screw located behind the brass fitting ?
thanks

Yes behind the brass plugs.
2.5 turs out from lightly seated is a good starting point
Turn the idle down a little. Close a scew (turn clockwise) till the engine stumbles. Open the screw 1/2 turn.

When drilling the brass plug be careful to not go too deep and hit the needle screw head (1/4" I believe) then use a suitable screw to fit the drilled hole to pull/ turn out the friction fit brass plug.

A counter sink on the bit, backwards, works great. Tape wrapped on the bit works too. You only need to drill in a little. Not much more past the taper of the drill bit.
