I did the CBR myself, but these days theres more to choose from.

This is a slimmer light, not 100% sure if it fits, but it would be similar setup to the CBR mod.

Along with the CLEAR CBR light, I also have this, (clear one) which is going in place of the rear "reflector". (I quote reflector, as I do not have the reflector, just the piece with a zillion holes drilled in it, from past lives, which I recently filled and sanded Smoove).
This one also flashes and has "sequential blinking".

Do not cheap out on the 10- 20 dollar cheapos. I had an cheap oval Brake/Running LED in place of the reflector. after about a week (maybe less) I noticed about 4-5 of the 40+? LEDs had cut out on me. Still worked , but looked stoopit.

Now I spare no expense on my baby. (if I can help it) ;)

Found a pic of the stupid OVAL LED cheapo. They must make some good ones, but usually ya get what ya pay for.

Sdt-354 installed a cbr all in one on my bike this spring and I love it. Very bright and visible. Not to mention slims up the tail and looks bad to the bone. I’m having trouble with my phone camera or I’d post some pictures. Getting rid of those big lollipops cleaned up the tail very nicely.

I have a LOT of variations available but by far the cleanest one (and brightest) is the reflector conversion. Looks stock blah until you turn it on! I even have billet plates with the recess cut in or flat if you wanted to mount something yourself there.

That reflector conversion looks interesting!
So I could just disconnect the stock brake light and plug this in?

This can either be added in conjunction or to replace the stock light. Then remove all of the stock crap and move the license plate either up to the fender or a side mounted plate.

Here’s something I’ve never seen done. Previous owner gets all credit. He integrated blinkers and brake light into stock grab rail. Unfortunately I added a back rest and had to remove it.

I take it the conversion replaces the rear shiny plate by LEDs so is not acting as a reflector?

Obviously different laws in US but over in the UK that would be MOT fail.
