I don't know of anybody that makes a 17" wheel for the gen 2. It would open up a huge option for tires though.

Some of the overseas suppliers have custom wheels available for the gen 2's. They are horridly expensive but you don't exactly have many options. We've made custom stuff for the gen 1 but haven't done one for the gen 2 yet.

Moto-Art in Germany has a nice selection of 17" wheels. I have a set on my Gen 2. Not cheap but very high quality.
